Jeramy Ellison, also known as "Trap Master J" - the Owner and Founder of Dynamic Police Training & VOCC, LLC. With over 12 years of experience in Texas & Illinois, Jeramy has seized millions of dollars in U.S currency, over a ton of narcotics, and a staggering amount of hidden compartments in passenger motor vehicles, commercial trucks, and buses. He is an expert witness in criminal interdiction and hidden compartments, and his work has been nationally recognized.
In 2014, Jeramy's bust was aired live on Fox News, where he seized 111 pounds of methamphetamine from a compartment built inside a gas tank of a passenger motor vehicle. He prides himself on making self-initiated "cold" traffic stops and working all his criminal interdiction cases from start to finish, gaining a wealth of knowledge in search warrants, felony arrest warrants, civil asset forfeitures, case law, and other valuable assets.
Jeramy's hard work in criminal interdiction has resulted in hundreds of criminal interdiction cases and has made significant contributions to the greater good of the United States and the world. He holds an instructor license through the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Education (TCOLE) and takes pride in teaching others in the interdiction community and around the world.
As drug cartels and other criminal organizations constantly change their tactics of smuggling contraband in and out of the United States, Jeramy is passionate about passing on the ever-changing dynamics of Criminal Interdiction. His goal is to teach others how to be successful in making an impact against the cartels and other criminal organizations that threaten the United States. Sergeant Thumann has been a Sheriff's Deputy for 18 years and is employed with the Fayette County Sheriff's Office. Sergeant Thumann holds a Master Peace Officers license in the State of Texas.
Sergeant Thumann found his passion in Criminal Interdiction and has been a full-time interdiction officer for the past 12 years. Primarily focused on the elaborate structure of the Mexican Cartels pushing drugs across the Mexico-Texas border, Sergeant Thumann has been remarkably successful in his interdiction career and nationally recognized for intercepting and seizing drugs, money, guns, and illegal immigrants being smuggled into the United States.
Sergeant Thumann has seized thousands of pounds of Marijuana, Cocaine, Heroin, Methamphetamines, and Fentanyl, along with millions of dollars being transported across the country in passenger vehicles and commercial trucks. Through his interdiction experiences, Sergeant Thumann has become a highly regarded expert in locating and accessing compartments and concealments utilized by the cartels in their attempts to defeat law enforcement.
Sergeant Thumann has been a K9 handler for 13 years and has worked three dual-purpose canines. He is a Senior Master Handler and Department Trainer. Sergeant Thumann and his canine "Kolt" are currently assigned to a Regional SRT Team. Sergeant Thumann has utilized his canines in his full-time duties as an interdiction officer, which has dramatically increased his success in locating concealed contraband.
As a TFO with DEA, Sergeant Thumann has the ability to take a roadside seizure into a controlled delivery seamlessly. He has extensive experience testifying in State and Federal court. Sergeant Thumann’s exceptional skills have given him the opportunity to work with many different agencies across the country.
Sergeant Thumann has received many awards and accolades throughout his interdiction career: EPIC Interdiction Officer of the Year, EPIC Largest Highway Heroin Seizure, NCEA Largest Highway Methamphetamine Seizure, DEA Certificate of Appreciation, Sheriffs Association Texas Lawman of the Year, Sheriff's Association Peacemaker Award, Three-time 100 Club Officer of the Year, Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition District 10, Texas State of Representation Certification of Recognition District 13, Texas State Senator Accommodation District 18, Resolution from the State Of Texas, Three-time Choice Awards Fayette County Record, DEA Certificate of Recognition, 100 Club National Police Week, K9s 4cops Top Detection Award.
With access to unlimited funds, the cartel is constantly becoming more advanced and sophisticated in their tactics. Always progressing and changing, smugglers are coming up with bold and new tactics to smuggle contraband across the border and into the country. Sergeant Thumann believes he has a responsibility to pass along the interdiction expertise he has amassed, both failures and successes, to expedite the skill set in the new generation of criminal interdiction professionals.

Preston brings extensive experience and expertise to his role in law enforcement, having dedicated ten years of exemplary service in the field. Throughout his career, Preston has assumed various responsibilities, notably serving as a medical officer on a tactical team, demonstrating exceptional proactivity and training numerous officers as a Field Training Officer for five years.
Currently, Preston wholeheartedly devotes himself to his position as a K9 handler within the Criminal Interdiction Division, with a specific focus on combating narcotics trafficking and addressing major crimes along Interstate 40. Preston has achieved remarkable successes, including significant narcotics seizures, the discovery of several aftermarket compartments, recovery of stolen vehicles, weapons, and the successful apprehension of wanted fugitives.
Preston's unwavering dedication and outstanding performance have garnered him numerous accolades and awards. Notably, he was honored with the prestigious Officer of the Year award in 2019, along with commendations such as the Chief's Commendation award, Police Commendation with Risk, Life Saving award, and several letters of commendation.
Throughout his career, Preston has demonstrated exceptional professionalism and skill in navigating critical incidents, such as officer-involved shootings, hostage situations, and standoffs.
Furthermore, Preston enhances his qualifications with an instructor's license and an intermediate police officer certification from the Council of Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET) in Oklahoma. Recognizing the dynamic nature of law enforcement, Preston is highly motivated to leverage his experience to contribute to the professional development of other officers.
Preston firmly believes that his experience can make a meaningful impact with fellow officers who share a genuine drive to learn, adapt, and operate with heightened efficiency and safety. Detective Brandon J. Smith

Detective B. Smith has been in Law Enforcement since the day he was born due to both of his parents working for the Killeen Police Department for 35+ years before retirement in 2015. Detective B. Smith has been with the City of Killeen since June 2007 after attending Stephen F. Austin State University where he played football and baseball. Detective B. Smith started his law enforcement career in patrol until he was able to transfer to the Organized Crime Unit in February of 2014. During Detective B. Smith’s career, he has served on SWAT and the FBI- Central Texas Violent Crimes Task Force while excelling at all positions he has held and been assigned to. Detective B. Smith devotes himself to taking criminals off the streets and “running up the ladder” when it comes to narcotic investigations. Detective B. Smith has been described as one who never sleeps, takes pride in everything he does with his career and is always willing to be there to assist in any way possible.
Detective B. Smith has conducted investigations with seizures resulting in kilograms of cocaine/methamphetamine, hundreds of pounds of marijuana, multiple pounds of THC/Extracts, significant amounts of firearms and large quantities of US Currency.
Detective B. Smith holds a Master Peace Officers License in the State of Texas with multiple certifications/qualifications to include Advanced SWAT Operator/Sniper, Firearms Instructor, Field Training Officer, Mechanical/Ballistic Breaching Instructor, Glock MOS Instructor, Glock Armorer, TCOLE Instructor, High Level A Clandestine Laboratory, Court Certified Expert in Narcotics and many more involving narcotics, prostitution, gangs and gambling.
Detective B. Smith has earned several awards throughout his career to include Uniformed Officer of the Year, Detective of the Year, FBI Certificate of Appreciation, Plain Clothes Detectives of the Year, Instructor of the Year and many others.
Detective B. Smith started his own narcotic training business in an attempt to give other Detectives the knowledge, training and experience that he was not afforded during his earlier years with the Organized Crime Unit.
